The Factory

The factory is located over 2750 meters above sea level, on four thousand square meters. Located in Cochabamba, Bolivia. 

We have cutting-edge technology, capable and competent human resources that allows us to process first class products under strict quality standards. 

The quinoa and chia production and packaging process is carried out under rigorous international quality standards (food safety management system under the FSSC22000 scheme) and under the supervision of a highly specialized team that performs specific quality controls during each stage of the production process.

Our process includes 17 production machines and 22 auxiliary equipment (Dust collecting systems, cyclones, heat exchangers, bucket elevators, etc.). This makes us one of the most complete quinoa processing factories available in the market.

This way we guarantee food safety, legality and safety in each of our products.

Quality  

Royal Quinoa is recognized internationally as the best variety of Quinoa in the world. From this excellent raw material received from our certified organic Quinoa Producers, we proceed to a series of steps to obtain a high quality product that guarantees:

  1. A purity higher than 99,99%.
  2. Larger grains and a better grain size homogeneity.
  3. A saponin extraction process by friction and washing the grain, getting values of less than 120mg / 100g saponin in the final product.
  4. An organic product certified by an international certification company, from harvest to final commercialization.
  5. Pesticide analysis made by recognized international laboratories (ISO 17025 certified) confirming the organic quality of the batch to be exported.
  6. Our products quality is guaranteed by the implementation of a food safety management system under the FSSC22000 scheme.
Processing of raw materials:

Packaging:  

The ANDEAN FOODS products are available in the following packaging options:

  • Bulk packs. The 25kg (55 lb) packs come in laminated paper bags. We also offer larger amounts packaged in Big Bags.
  • 200g – 2000g (7oz – 4,5lb) Cardboard boxes. The products are offered in attractive cardboard boxes in different sizes. The packages may be labeled with our own brand or be labeled with the customer’s brand name.
  • 200g – 2000g (7oz – 4,5lb). The products are offered in Doypack bags with zippers and sectored printing in matte or gloss giving them a very attractive presentation. The tri-laminated structure of the bags guarantees proper preservation of the product and a longer product life. The packages may be labeled with our own brand or be labeled with the customer’s brand name. As we are aware that the environment is important, we offer 95% Biodegradable bags too.
